Palestine, Unquenched
Edited by Sharon Mooney
[VERSE ONE] Yearning for freedom, birthright denied, With every protest, voices amplified. [VERSE TWO] In their hearts, intifadas echo remain, vision of a future, free from occupationer's chain. [CHORUS] Palestina's children, unyielding claim. Ancient people, your hearts aflame, justice for the courageous, dawn of freedom's gotta break.

Ancient Hope's Unquenched Flame In lands where olives grace the soil, An ancient people, steadfast and bold. Their hearts aflame with hope's unyielding toil, A flame for centuries never went cold. Their culture weaves a tapestry so bright, A testament to their indomitable will. Through strife and pain, they stand in valiant might, Their spirit unbroken, their resolve still. From ancient ruins to modern streets, Their heritage echoes through the years. A people rooted deep, with courage complete, Unbowed by oppression, shedding no tears. They yearn for freedom, their birthright denied, A land of their own, where dreams may soar. With every protest, their voices amplified, A symphony of hope that forevermore. The olive branch, a symbol of their plea, For peace and justice, a just decree. Though obstacles loom, they will not despair, For in their hearts, hope's flame still burns fair. Oh, ancient people, your courage inspires, A testament to the human soul's might. May your dreams of freedom, like raging fires, Illuminate the path to your promised light.

Ancient Land of Hope and Pride In ancient lands, where olive trees still sway, And history's echoes dance in every way, A people proud, with hearts aflame, Palestinians, with an unyielding claim. Their culture rich, a tapestry of dreams, From olive groves to poetic themes, A heritage that time cannot erase, A testament to an indomitable race. Through centuries of struggle, they have stood, Their spirits unbroken, their courage understood, For in their hearts, a flame burns bright, A hope for freedom, a beacon in the night. Their ancient roots connect them to the past, A source of strength, a foundation built to last, From Canaan's land to Gaza's strife, Their history weaves a tapestry of life. Their homes may be occupied, their rights denied, But their resistance knows no bounds, they will not hide, For in their eyes, a flicker of defiance gleams, A longing for justice, a shattered world's redemption. Their voices rise, a chorus loud and clear, Demanding freedom, casting off all fear, Intifadas echo through the streets, A plea for self-determination, their rights to meet. From Bethlehem's star to Jerusalem's dome, Their spirit shines, defying any gloom, For in their hearts, a hope remains, A vision of a future free from chains. Palestinians, ancient people, proud and bold, Your courage inspires, your story to be told, May freedom's dawn break over your land, And peace and justice reign hand in hand.
